Good on him but it's bloody pig ugly
Wow! That's cool.
Bloody hell... thats it I'm off to bunnings tomorrow.
I was impressed with the dash, he's got tallent or a sh!t load of patience lol
Ive a feeling whoever wrote that story actually knows little about the car, from what I can see, it does not have any rust or damage that has not been deliberately caused by man, it looks like the first pic has just been taken long after the project was already started, not at the beginning at all ?
"He uses a simple ruler to achieve even more precision"., LOL, that's one curved ruler ! (its actually a profile/contour gauge)
And look, he must have stripped all that foam off near the end to wire up the headlights (haha)
Someones got skills and patience though, just not the author !:049:
My old man used to do that sort of stuff for work. Very impressive.
Some sports car company will probably give him some cash to buy the design.
someone has way too much time on their hands.
But a good example of what can be achieved when
you think outside the square, two thumbs up
Imagine seeing it in a crash..
It'll be like a pillow exploding and then no more car!!!
I have done something sort of similar :tease: expanding foam to block the vent holes due to the cage :harhar:

This ExMercedes has Latvian number plates.
What can I say, the Latvian car repairman's are well knowing "wizards". They buy cars from scrap yards in Germany and other EU countries. And after some "minor" repair works sell it as: "This is my daughter's car. Only daily driving from home to college and back".
Some of them made really great, but most of them are totally crap.
I don't want to be blabber, so this is an example of the one of those implementation.
There is two donors cars. One with smashed front, another with smashed back.
Let's the magic begins...

The old "Cut 'n' Shut". I remember reading about a car that fell apart on the Westgate Freeway in the early nineties.
Not for me, looks a giant rodent from the front.
