Tie rod ends for the wifes VX crummydore. Also ordered, another, ABS module, for the second time. Plus I need to get new lower control arm bushes and ball joints. It had this god awful rattle in the steering so I get under there yesty and the sway bar bushes were virtually non existent. Lol. So a couple of Patrol front shocker bushes fixed that! This car is farked!
Yeah this things got a water leak behind the motor somewhere too. Stuffed if I'm fixing that, so some "pour in" repair shite did that. Plus the oil leaks this thing has. OMG! It leaks more oil than it burns. Lol. I just need to keep it going for a little longer until we can afford to burn it and get another car. Problem is though. Shit doesn't burn.... :D
My draglink bracket arrived today.
Will see how tomorrow goes or it will be next week.
Purchased extension bars to try and reach the bloody coolant drain bolt on the block. Retarded design.

Well this won't be happening today.
Mother in law slipped last night. Multiple fractures to her left shoulder, chipped bone in her hand and bruising along her hip.
Father in-law has 2 doc appointments today, so my day off is baby sitting.

Received some new radius bushes and a set of drivers door hinges as my current ones have worn and sagging. Do people get them painted prior to install?

Yeah cheers mate. Been through that with our current territory which is a 2006 model, hopefully they have improved a bit since then. Couldn't find a better value for money family car that suits our needs.

Hey Clunk, if you want to ring around the Melbourne stores we're happy to bring one over in a few weeks. Chirnside Park, Ringwood, Eltham are all pretty close to us mate. Qantas are pretty good to us these days ;-)
Found this while searching for something else, its either a good price or a Cr%p product

My gardeners choice {Kmart}Lawnmower blew the motor so I re powered it with a 6hp honda copy motor for $175.
It will cut 6in grass idling what a beast, lol lol and a wide cut as well the nature strip would normalyl take 7 cuts{rows}

Still no car John. They said early next week it will be done. I hope...
Its actually second hand. The hose kit and loom are brand new though. Never used. Got it for a bargain. I couldn't say no. It will fit under the pax seat as its pretty flat. But real heavy. Its lower than the locker compressor under there now. I just have to figure out how to plumb and wire it so it works just as a compressor, and then just as a compressor for the air locker.
I'm real keen to see how fast this pumps up a deflated 35.
Nice score. Nothing to figure out mate. It has a pressure switch and cuts in and out off that. The loom turns it on. When you use the locker the solenoid opens and trips the pressure switch. Just add your pump up line in with female nittos and the pressure switch will still operate. The airline becomes storage.
Cheers Daz.
As it stands now with my current compressor. I have two switches, one to turn the compressor on, it will only run though if its below the set pressure switch. And then theres the actual locker switch.
So I'm assuming, well hoping, with the new loom, I can do a third function of just soley running the compressor.
yeah nah its right now. The locker switch just turns on a Solenoid to activate your airlocker. I assume your running the ARB loom for the diff locker compressor? if so and you are happy to remove the locker compressor? then literally just remove the locker compressor and install the new one and plug it back in... Nothing to do, nothing to change.
The first switch turns on the compressor. The airlock switch does nothing to the compressor other than use air and initiate the low pressure switch to activate the compressor again. The ARB loom powers up the air locker switch Pin2 from the Pin3 on the Compressor switch but this is irrelevant to you.
The only thing you may need to alter is the supply size tot he new compressor and the size of the relay to activate it so only the Battery to Compressor side of the loom, the rest stays the same.
