I wouldn't mind being paid o/t but thems the breaks when you're on a salary....... But I've got a good boss who's pretty understanding and flexible, working from home tomorrow, so I can look after the eldest.

Nice one. Good on him. Need more bosses like him hay.. here there complete knobs... Demand we work 12x7 for the 3 weeks over Christmas, then only do 8x5 themselves... A lot of annoyed blokes then...

Well that's crap. Lol. I know what you mean about not touching anything when it s just a button I have the same at work not allowed to touch a spanner or reset a tripped conveyor have to wait for the shift sparky or fitter to sort it.

random happening of the evening:
was watching some vids on youtube about fox whistling with tenterfield whistles - my partner's cat has been running around the house looking out the windows trying to find the distressed rabbit. The funny thing is that the cat has never really been outside and has definitely never met a rabbit before.
It's called instinct.
You can have chickens locked up for a hundred generations, none of them ever seeing a fox.
Yet put a picture of a fox near by and they go crazy, why, instinct.

Bought a new door hinge for the trol, got my new steeringdamper to fit.
Too bloody cold over here for lying under cars at the moment.
