Installed my new JVC stereo and GME UHF.
Big couple of weekends..
Have installed reverse camera.
Hooked up the dimmer on the head unit.
Still need to sort the park brake hack so dvds work.
Finally finished the lift..
Love it..
Well.. need to sort front towers..
Resealed the light bar.
Tightened front wheel bearings.

Dont you just earth the park brake circuit out? Then dvds will work all the time. The hand brake switch is just a simple normally closed switch.
Installed the new glow plug seals today thanks to mudski for the new seals but also found the injector seals leaking a job for the new year

Yea that's what I've read. Tapped the supposed trigger line to the earth but still no good..Quote:

Installed my awning.
Removed the radiator for the forth time and added 9ml of oil to the viscous fan hub as my previous oil adjustment left the hub not engaging at all. So now I can you this at speed...Just trying to get the hub to engage and disengage at a satisfactory time.
I also installed full manual free wheeling hubs to replace the auto hubs that I had converted to manual....And drank beer whilst doing this. Was a good day,...

Im keen to hear your thoughts on the UFI hub Stropp. Whether its engaged the whole time etc etc.
Well my DVD issue was the wrong wire..
Found the manual.
Then found the wire tagged park switch..... 😐
Earthed it out and wholla.. DVD works..
So now it's all up and working as it should..
