I tried to transfer the files to the laptop and a warning came up saying that there was corrupted files.

Hmmmm? that happened to me too but i ejected the SD card and reinserted it and the error disappeared?

Daz have you got the iPhone app sorted?

I haven't had a play with it yet.

I am going to be a Tarmac Escort Vehicle at the Avalon Airshow in a couple of weeks and I will certainly be getting it sorted for then. There is going to be some great footage of some awesome planes

Just remember you will need to plug the camera into the computer and do a software update.

Yep I could not even view my photos without the upgrade. That's all done.

Hey Ben

Actually this is what happened to me mate. I headed to the meetup after recieving my new memory sticks in the mail that day. I did not do the immediate update that is required out of the box. When I went to view the footage when I got back if came up as an error.

Fortunately I had a second SD card and used the second blank card to run the update off the GoPro site. After that I put the other used card in and there they were.

Have you done the upgrade mate?

Yeah I have done the upgrades. I have already stuffed around with it prior to this, but my laptop couldnt handle the highest quality so I dropped it to 1080. Yesterday was round 2, which is gone :(.
On another note I had another crack at it today, It works!! it was just a drive around town with the skeleton case on it trying to see what the sound is like.

Where did you get the skeleton case? I can't seem to find one for a GoPro 3? Thinking of buying a spare case for $65 I think and drilling appropriate holes in it ;)
