Thanks for your enquiry.

The amount of light the 40" Aurora LED lightbar emits, will more or less make your other lights non existent. This includes your spotties! At 19600 lumens of light they are amazing.
The use of quality 5w led's and the reflector design gives you an even light all over. Like Darren (MudRunnerTD) said, it is like liquid light.

As for mounting, well there are many ways this can be done. The simplest and tidiest setup would be to run a single rack for the lightbar. If you can find something that sits nice and low it will make for a nice and slimlime setup. Otherwise if the rack sits high enough you have the option to mount the lightbar underneath the rack.
They come with two different sizes for the mounting feet so you will have an option that best suits your needs.

If I mount it on the 'roof rack', how much light will reflect on the white bonnet? Is it going to be a hazard to me?

What about if I mount it on top of the pod? Will the same thing occur?

I have a 30" mounted on my Sierra, DIRECTLY above the windscreen. Actually it's on the windscreen surround! It does light the bonnet up and I originally thought it might annoy me but it's fine for me. The advantage you have is that you can position the light back further than I could and this will allow you to eliminate the majority (if not all) of the light that could reflect off the bonnet. It won't be an issue. There are plenty of people out there now running lightbars on the roof with no issues whatsoever.

Hey Rossco,

i have mine over my B Pillar on the GQ and i have Zero reflection on the Bonnet. Darkness. The light just misses the top of the bull bar and i have no dark patch in front of the car at all. If you were to mount it to the front of your Pod above the roof of your cab it would be in the same position as mine. Great spot. To make sure it is on and working i look at the top of my Snorkel and the light reflects of that.

I love pics and vids. That's what's leaning me towards buying the stuff. Plus with the potential of 1600m distance, it is perfect for the long stretches of country driving that I do.

He said he looks at his snorkel to make sure it's on. I was a smart ass and said as if you can't tell just by looking in front of you? Haha got it now??

Ross, Did you check out my pics on the WPC Forum? That's one of Paul's 30" single row light bars (not the Aurora ones), so not as bright what your looking at, but perfect for what I want. Mine is mounted on the roof coming off the front of a Rhino Sportz bar with some brackets and just forward of the B pillar. The only reflection I am getting is off the antennas on the bullbar, but that doesn't bother me.

Believe it or not you get used to the amount of light and look for more. I have seriously a number of times checked to to make sure its all on!!!!! Spoilt for light.

Rossco i am considering fitting some 170 Lightforce with 55W HID conversion in 2 Spots to the front of mine to give me a bit more straight down the guts for those long flat drives mate. The LED Light bar will take care of the Shoulders and you will see anything sitting on the road or beside it for a loooong way but i would like a little more straight out the front....Cause i can ;)

I've got lightforce 170s with HID but can't remember if I got 55W or 75W hahaha, bloody bright as, got one spread one spot and don't reckon I need any more lights
