Surely not at that price though.

@ Mudnut talking shoddy workmanship, My BIL had a gas conversion mob next door to his auto lec business. One old Italian guy would get the 90 ltr out of date tanks
He fitted two in the rear of his Dual cab Hilux on a timber frame made from Pallets . now talk about back yard stupidity
The only way I use the dockets is when there is 15c minimum, and then I buy something else I need in store to get the extra 4c/L discount. If the vehicle I take won't fit 150L, I take jerry cans to get up to the maximum. Saves me $28.50. Of course diesel is at least $1.70/L
Otherwise I just buy from whoever I know doesn't have water in the fuel.
It's not worth lining up like the GN, aircon blazing for a 4c discount using your own money.
Deisel is normally around $1.60 in Western sub of Brisbane and I only get about 500km to a 80L tank :(
Could be. By the sounds of it, it`s like the $33 dollar gas cylinder service fee that gets done every 12 months, for those house hold gas cylinders people use for their gas stoves at home. Can only be done by a licenced gas conversion installer and they have to make sure that it`s working correctly, leaks etc etc. Only going on on what I heard. Apologise for the side track.
Might be for 10 years, haven`t gotten into it to find out. I have heard that 10 years were their use by date, similar to the gas bottles for camping and then they test the condition of the bottle and they`ll replace the valve. My father owns a vehicle with gas and the gas set up needs to be serviced every 12 months for correct operational work, leaks etc etc and the mechanic I spoke to owns the service station as well, so he`d would have some idea. He did say that people aren`t going for gas much these days, because it`s going up and up and there`s a $150 servicing every 12 months. Any way, some thing to think about.
