I've always thought about the old vs new debate, and I absolutely loved my 4.2 Turbo Diesel GQ, but honestly, I couldn't go back now
I only buy cheap throw away mowers, you know the $249 specials from Kmart
Because there cheap i dont care about them , dont service them ,nothin
First one lasted 8 years, bent the throttle arm and couldnt be bothered, it still runs and starts, but bent throttle arm ,bought another one ,12 months later still no issues
The deals car dealers are doin with 2.9 % ect, new car sales have gone silly,people are buying up fast
The stuff thats 5 years old isnt worth a cracker now, imagine the market flood of 2nd handies in 5 years time ....
Why buy 2nd hand at 10-18 % interest when new is 2.9 %
We were tempted to flick the GQ and buy new,but no 4 pot boosted 4x4 dual cab is worth 40 odd grand .......
Now if nissan do a dual cab V8 patrol for 40 grand ,thats different
