Open up the holes a bit to suit a 14mm bolt on the recovery points. So coat of Rustguard to exposed metal was the go.

Tested the fan clutch and decided I've finally got the right amount of oil in it now.
30ml of 30k silicone oil makes the fan start to drive harder as soon as the temp gets over half way on the factory gauge. I tried 40ml first, then 35ml, and it stayed locked up all the time.
Tested my dropping resistor upgrade and found that a 2200 ohm resistor isn't at all harsh on the changes when the engine's hot, so I'll see how it goes when it's cold.
Fitted another Anderson plug and went for a drive around the neihbourhood to get rid of underbody Mud.. Got to love S/E QLD flooding..
Replaced the factory cassette player with a new head unit and speakers.
