I used 40nb for the top rail of winch bar.. with 12mm side plates with the recovery points..
I may or may not have nosed a stobie pole when chucking a u turn after first fitting it..

Good tube is ideal, 40nb 3.2mm wall is cheap and can be bent in a small bender, just keep the seam on the inside of the bend where possibleQuote:
