mudnutette has cracked it with school and is taking her bat and ball to find a job in the big smoke. Tried to tell her how rough it is for youngsters without a VCE to get a decent job anywhere, but she has her blinkers on and is as stubborn as her Dad.

Yeah, Drew, banging head ATM. Been there, said all that, but she just won't listen. At least she has a place to stay, with close rellies.

This bit sounds good. If she's at least gonna be looked after, it might not be so bad. Maybe she just needs a bit of space and time to see for herself that it ain't easy? That might be the motivation she needs to do some more study or whatever it is to prepare her for what's next? I think it is pretty tough on young people to know what to do, especially now that any old work doesn't seem to be as easy as it used to be. Before you could just get something for a job. It was usually crap and good motivation to do something more to prepare for something better. Hopefully either with or without work she'll come to find something to motivate her :)Quote:
