Unfortunately you need to connect it to the underside of the airbox. There is already a rectangular cutout there in the Commodore Airbox but I think it faces the Overflow Bottle.

Forgive my Ignorance but how do you make the picture show up like that rather than a link?
I tried the Insert Image but it didn't work using the same URL.

After one for the petrol fit out, so let me know if so.
Mucho appreciato amigos!!!
Personally I would try and find a new / aftermarket one not second hand.....
The amount of times I had 2 try and recalibrate mine I just gave up, currently when I fill up it only show 3/4 of a tank.
But if your not fussed on the gauge working correctly go s/hand
Speak to the suppliers of your new tank Bigus. They might do a deal seen as you brought the tank off them. You will more then likely need one to suit a long range as it is or it won't reach the bottom of the tank.
Did that old mate - they recommend original units (apparently you "simply" bend the arm to suit and that is the recommended and most common approach?).
Can't find a second hand one, and being mines a 92 model the price difference is huge- $87 for a Pre 92 model, nearly $500 genuine for a post 92 model ???? Appreciate they had bigger lines in them, but what would that matter to a sender?? Or should I just be getting an earlier model one considering it's going to be bent to suit anyway???
Can't find any after market mate - apparently they stand the test of time, an it's the way the arm is bent that decides on how well they work? Seems bloody probe to trial and error to me considering the amount of aftermarket long range tanks produced and sold???
I think the post 92's actually had smaller line size, 7mm from memory as apposed to the pre 92's 10mm line size...
The price difference I expect is the post 92 run an "in tank" electric fuel pump that is located at the bottom of the fuel pick pipe which it part of the sender unit so that may be the reason for the difference in the pricing, however unjustified.
Just a point to be aware of here.... You will more then likely need a higher volume electric pump over the STD so if you go new try to get a sender without the pump. It might bring down the price a bit if you can, but check it out with your blokes to see what combo they intend on using first.
Have you checked to see how similar they are to r31 skyline ECU's?
150 and a case of bourbon you can have my one
Hi guys I am looking for a tough preferably alloy roof rack for my GQ and also a cargo barrier steel milford type
Cheers Andrew
so are you just after a sender itself not the whole unit???
