Well I can press the clutch and select any gear and it won't drive if that explains it any better damn thing is in pakenham still gotta get it home looks like a tow truck might be needed as I don't anyone with a vehicle that could tow it on a tandem it's all just fun and games at the moment
Did you go through deep water???
Check the little drain hole in your bellhousing. Is your bung in there? Take it out mate and leave it out.
I had exact same problem and it was just water stuck in there.
Not long now AB lol
hope you get it sorted healy
Nah no water unfortunately I might be able to get it done in time ill be absolutely f'd if I don't get done to meet you guys and I just purchased a long range tank how much should a heavy duty clutch cost?
Is that just for the clutch? Do I still need a thrust bearing?
There will be a spigot bearing in the flywheel, the tip of the input shaft sits in that bearing. Strongly advised to change that while its all out. Some other nong, not mentioning any names forgot to do his... Anyhow, the thrust bearing should come in the kit, spigot bearing wont.
Also I just got back from Murrindindi. They have done a good job of repairing the place after the fires. Its almost bitumen all the way until just after the final (veer right) turn off toward the camp grounds.
AB I will have the friday off. I can go up earlier to somehow reserve places up there. Just really need numbers I suppose of just how many are going...
WOW, check this out.... cluch , pressure plate and bearing. 345 with postage
