Sorry my bad. A H7.2. Just turned up now. I say if its a fake its a bloody good one. I found a website saying how to spoke the LED lenser fakes but its on the torches, not the headlamp. I paid $60 for it.... I'd love to find out somehow if its fake or not though. None the less. If its fake, its well done.

Yep its a fake for sure. The bloody thing turns on by itself, randomly flashes from dull to bright and then just stays on and the only way to turn it off is to remove the batteries.
They have gone to a lot of effort to make this look real though.
I'm quite pissed with myself though as when I was looking for one of these I made sure I was only buying in AU as I am aware of the fakes. I filtered my search to AU only and these fcukers still get through. I sent them a message saying the said issues. Will be interesting to see if they want me to send it back. Which I wont be doing. Then I'll report them to eBay for a violation because of their apparent location they have listed.

I though of taking it down to the local Aussie Disposals store as I know they have them and see if we can compare them. But I kinda feel funny asking them to do so when I won't be buying one from them.

I'd rather my money back. Another reason for looking local is warranty reasons.

So why not buy one from them? At least you know it's genuine and can walk in the door if there are any issues.......

Ring Led Lenser, they should be able to tell you how to tell if it is a fake and would probably appreciate the info on the seller.

Depending on the price Drew. Last time I looked they were quite over priced in there. I might go there today and see and if the price is good I will get one. They should have come down by now as there is a new model out.

I've reported "leatherman " and "Buck" copies and the companies have been very gratefull
Mind you they never offered the real deal at a reduced price, but were happy with my imformation.
Bummer about the head lamp, I have a Cree XL6 1800 lmns one very bright head lamp, and under $50
wouldn't hesitate to buy another but nothing wrong with the current one.

Meh! If it worked I wouldn't care. But it doesn't so I'm just a little annoyed really.

Received the smaller washer bottle for the 'battery under the bonnet' project. I should be able to squeeze an Optima DS46B24R (38ah) into the space left from the current washer bottle removing the need for a rear battery for weekend trips and a little extra reserve for winching if needed.

I'm not catering for the rear window washer as I find the rear window largely useless anyway... I may put a camera back there though. I'm hoping a non functioning washer in the rear isn't a road worthy issue.

And the existing washer bottle started leaking recently... good timing.

You could convert the rear washer bottle into a hand wash station,
I did that on my other 4x4, great for washing number plates and len's after some muddy tracks

We bought this little fella today, can't bring him home for a few weeks but.
