Started to fit my 1" cab lift. Exposed all the bolts under the carpet and covered them in crc before leaving for work..
Dam those square plastic caps along side the middle seats are a pain to lift..
While door seals are up I'll run wire for the new rear work light.

Even though the rig just got a new motor, gave it a 2k service and put in a tablet mount in the back for munchkin on the long drives.
Started packing the rig for a weekends shooting :)

Hey Westy how come only 1", isnt that lower than std.??
I thought the same when first investigated, But you lift by adding the spacer under the stock rubber ones. That's why it's critical there the same diameter.
I only want 1" to mount sliders and more room fit a long range tank. Hoping for 130L +.. 50% bigger.

I have started the job of fitting a compressor and also an inverter plus run fuse box in the rear!!
Also installed a 3rd battery in the rear to power it all.
Took the family for a arvo beach run in the trol. First one since can lift, and can't engage low range.. Have to investigate...

If I notch the floor the boot won't fit then.
It has 12mm gearbox spacers under it to correct the lift, so I might try remove that first. If not I might try adjust the linkage.

Took 150ml of rear diff oil out and added 150ml of engine oil flush. It's worked for others so here goes ;-)

Today, I picked up and fitted a Tigerz11 Grande 12,000lb winch, and over the past few weeks I have fitted a genuine steel winch bar, rated recovery points to the front, make and installed a table for the rear door, fiited LED lights over the table and into the awning, and last but not least fitted a rear work light.
Got some blue spotlight covers, huge mod lol.
Ordered my 55w HID kit for my IPF900 bar spotties with internal ballasts. But unfortunately I cannot get HID kit with internal ballast for my 5 x IPF808 on the roof rack and don't really want to fit externally on the rack.

Copy cat I also ordered some 55W HIDs for my spotties, no way to mount them internally though.
Mego how come they wont fit???
Although I haven't looked into it myself, the guys I bought the kit off reckon there just isn't enough space inside the housing of IPF808's for a ballast and wiring to convert. Only using ballast externally. Attachment 20763
Quite a skinny spottie

Mego Noticed you have an Auspit too, great piece of kit eh.
The first time I took it camping they all look at it and said it a useless piece of shizen, until I cooked on it, now they all say " make sure you bring the auspit"
It is expensive for what it is, but bit has it paid for itself. Just throw on what ever you want, turn it on, come back when it's ready. Beautiful, can't rate it highly enough. Get one and you won't go back.

I got one alright, went on a sponsors drive with 4wd tv ,Rhett from auspit supplied food.
couldn't figure out this 6' wok thing he had, I thought light a fire underneath and slap steaks on
the inside,. But no it was a fire pit after filming and arriving back at "camp", Rhett had 6 or so
Auspit going, beef, lamb. venison and pork ,spuds onion in general a feast, then later peaches dribbled with honey
. Pic is mate Phil watching 5kg of beef turning, very hard to stuff up a spit. 100% best piece of kit going around
Is that where they are? Have to have a word with the dog I reckon LOL
Flat out laying in the shade....

I replaced both my washer pumps, bought 2x off fleabay. Didnt realise I had purchased two units for the front washers. Made a subtle adjustment (sliced off restricting tab) and all good!
Now they "squirt" like never before.
I ordered new washer pumps for mine on Friday, they are so weak at the moment lol
Dunno yet I'll let you know when I get them. The jets on mine barely even make it to the windscreen lol.
Yep and blowed compressed air through the hoses too, motors are worn out!
Bugger
Tap, crackle, pop
X 2 with taslucas, I use a sewing needle to clear them ,but you need the hose off the back of them {TOM CATS}, needle
helps line them up too. I call them tom cats don't know why, all my mates call them that too, have for as long as I can remember.
I replaced mine and they work a treat. The only thing I found to be a problem was the hose to the rear was blocked up with gunk. Even putting a hose onto it it didn't really clean it out. Does anyone know a chemical which will clean all that build up? I would try draino but I think it might eat the hose lol
Tappin
they work unreal now, better then ever before. Dont know if they are higher pressure? But they sure do squirt good now!!!!!!!!
fitted my new harris hardcase and love it cheers mal!
Broke the rear steering linking rod in the bush on Sunday, luckily I had a spare from my donor Patrol and was back out there in the bush today fixing it. Unlike the 100 series landcruiser that had to be towed home. Although I suppose he didn't feel safe leaving his 50K truck overnight compared to my 5K Safari
