If I had a photo everytime I was bogged in a mud hole I will need a larger hard drive...lol....I was a sucker for holes, still am but learning slowly to avoid them if I can!
Always check depth and softness with a stick and all the way through the hole too. Been fooled many times half way out when it drops.
If you are lazy like me and can't be bothered to get out of the car at least dip the front of the car in to test out...LMAO
Momentum....I would rather look like an idiot going fast then not having enough and stuck in the middle.
If it looks deep and soft, pre hook up your snatch to save getting out in the slop....One of your friends can do that...lol
2nd low is generally your best friend unless you're at Loveday being an idiot like Growler and I through a deep 20m sloppy soft hole then hit it in 3rd low and watch your car fill up with mud and your radiator and alternator clog. I felt the wallet emptying every second I was stuck there!!!
Never been bogged ;)
Dunno about that china plate whats the pics at the beginning of your build thread
HOW? Didn't check depth, got hung up on the front diff.
WHERE? Mickett Creek, Darwin
HOWD I GET OUT? Winch
WHATD I LEARN? Need 37's or check depth first. Also learnt how to remove interior :smiley_thumbs_up:

Growler....Walk of shame. I'll try and find some of my misfortunes.
Not bogged just couldn't get up the climb after the mud....This is the exact moment I decided to get a front lokka....No joke.....Watching Growler get up changed my mind...lol
