The Brakes on the GQ after swapping to GU Diffs and brakes is Insane! Love it.

Yes it would be tight Damaverick has 15" rims I have changed mine to 17" which appears to have ample clearance.
You'd be able to crawl threw that gap... Lol

Fri/Sat calliper swap.
How did you go mate?I'll be doing my brakes soon the more info on what to choose the better.
Had a crazy weekend so have not started them yet but will this week.
Okay started the brake swap, removed the Patrol Twin calliper and Rotor first I pulled the wheel first followed by the Auto hub carefully removing not to disturb the hub innards. Then disconnecting the brake line I removed the 2x 22mm bolts holding the calliper, followed by the cir clip retainer in front of the auto hub mesh gearing. the Patrol has a bearing retaining ring where there are 2 locking screws remove these and then slide the Hub off the stub axle being careful of bearings and rear seal.
Over to the Maverick same steps as above but Manual Hubs, bearing here is retained by conventional retaining nuts behind a locking shim, using a punch knock the first nut then remove the locking shim then tap off the second nut slide the hub off as above.
Both callipers have the same bolt PCD so all good there, the only stumbling block I found was as small 2.5mm ridge running inside the Maverick (1990) hub, this prevented me reinstalling the bearing locking ring, so to get around this I split hub from rotor on both vehicles and swapped them over.
Refit reverse of dismantle, re bleed brakes job done.
Bought new slotted rotors to match up with the twin piston callipers, should arrive today will take a few pics before the rim goes back on.
