The plot thickens... This has happened twice now and I have a theory as to why it is happening.
Last time I adjusted the wheel bearings I think I bent the drivers side circlip that holds it all together. I did not have a pair of circlip pliers so used two pairs of pointy nose pliers and I think I've stretched it.
It has come off and allows a bit of movement in the hub, now my wheel hubs have come loose a couple of times and I think this free play is allowing them to come loose.
I will order a GU hub nut upgrade and replace the circlips (with circlip pliers)
I drove the car this week and noticed a noise coming from that hub so I am assuming it has come loose again. This should help with my braking too.
Have you got your new brake lines in yet? ?
Darren found me a set of twin piston rotors in Traralgon for $100, sent the bloke a message saying I'd go pick them up that day and he had sold them a couple of hours earlier! I was spewing! Bloody hell Darren, faster next time!
You know I gave Irish a set and he will never get around to fitting them.....
Winnie, awesome bus mate. Just wondering how the intercooler is nearly 2 years on? Have you had any dramas with it?
Oh sweet. You doing the lines as well?
Well the twin piston calipers showed up today with matching bolts and rotors.
They're getting put on tomorrow as well as the safebrake braided brake lines and a full service of the brake system... Woohoo can't wait!
Yeah mate gq brakes are crap and mime have seen better days anyway, plus our camper trailer does not have brakes and it was cheaper to do this upgrade than put brakes on the trailer.
Eventually I'll get brakes on the trailer and there'll be no stopping me! Or... There will! Haha
Wow!! Is that what it's like to have decent brakes? Like Darren said I near on head butted the windscreen!!
Can lock up the 33s on the dry bitumen now =) stoked!
Loving the spotty on the roof rack and the snorkel mate, what a mean machine!
Arb have got a locker special coming up start of next month... Locker, compressor and tyre pump up kit for 1195 plus fitting... Better book it in I reckon!
Ha ha, always something so tempting. That deep creek climb was a good showcase! The Jack proved how useful they are. What would you do, front or back?

Front for sure... Maybe rear some time in the future when I've run out of things to spend money on haha.
Bloody long read this, but can tell the passion gone into this beast . .
