All I can recommend is using another computer to do a backup then running a full checkdisk and this should tell you if the drive is repairable or not.Quote:

Rusty_nail has been helping me so far and it sounds like he's taking me down the same path you have mentioned apart from downloading the drivers. Grab a USB and get the drivers tomorrow. How big are they? Should they all fit onto a 2gb stick?

Hey AB got a Google account ? Try uploading it to googe docs or Google drive as its now called I think and it'll convert a excel file into the google docs spreadsheet type. It just may by pass password that way.
