Mounted redarc 25amp bcdc charger, fuse box and Ando inlets for solar and 240 charger plus an outlet on back of cargo barrier. . She's petty much all wired up so much better having a central fuse box rather a million in line fuses coming off battery and not knowing which is which lol. . Also put in cheap shunt & monitor seems to work well so far. .

Look good Ross. Jaycar sell LED fuses that show instantly which circuit is blown, bloody cheap and saves pulling fuses out willy nilly. i have upgraded all mine, best thing i did for a while. No dear either. If you buy them off ebay they are 10 times dearer.
Oh bloody fancy!! Me likey a lot, well done Rossco.

Tidied up main battery and ran little fuse block off terminal post with midi fuse hidden under relay cover . . Should have got a before pic bit for dramatic purposes was something like this. .

Took a slight detour when on the road the other day and ended up at Roardrunner Offroad damitt
http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...022/01/199.jpg
. . Few snazzy bits for the old girl upgraded brake shaft for the HM some new rope & hook and finally got myself a big black dildo to strap on the front. . . Did notice she got unusually hot on one of the scorchers the other day and looks like front of air con condenser still pretty dirty from $1000 dollar track so as brake shaft was on the cards may a well get bar, grill and intercooler off to give a good clean from front side and hopefully all good . .[emoji1696][emoji1696]
Also found windscreen leak that has plagued me since the rebuild had replaced all scrivets thinking that was it but still no good. . Looks like windscreen seal so at least its tracked down bit so should be able to get it sorted[emoji106][emoji106]

Ah where you be without a big black dildo in Christmas hills - I guess there isn't much else to do out there after you have strummed your way thru the same tooone 69 times!
Now that's a hook I'd like to trudge through swampy Tassie mud!

Nice one mate. 12mm rope for the win. Awesome. What diameter us the dildo? Check out Markys. I highly recommend replacing that bottom bolt with a pin and clip so you can take it off while.commuting. winner.
You will be impressed with the brake shaft too. It wasn't until.i fitted one that I realised how much of an upgrade it was, not just a circuit change.
We need to get that 24v pumping mate!!!
You probably won't fit 40m of 12mm on your drum either. When I make the soft shackles I needed about 3m of 12mm per shackle FYI or.make a 10m extension strap (well 7m by the time you splice a loop in each end. Nice fluoro Orange for the win
Yeah old mate who I got the bar off made a 50mm receiver for trailers so will be perfect for mounting removable dildo when in the bush only. . See how we go with rope is actually 10mm tho but should do the trick hopefully. . Think last time out rope on got 40 m and chopped about 10 off to make extension but that was with standard diameter drum so deltatec get a bit more on. . Dildo 75mm think better choice than 50. .

Bloody Tassie probably explains TD not loving the heat & hills. .

We did a great job on the radiator in the bush but still $1000 dollar mud to be found. . Think TDs need everything bang on to be happy on the scorchers. .

Who would have thought that might not run to full performance - boys and their mud journeys!!
Winch all back together not without a few dramas tho lol. . Could not get the motor out from top hat ended up drilling hole in feespool delete as that was equally impossible to get out (remember putting it in was so tight thinking this will never come out damitt). . . Anyways bit of belting on end of motor shaft out she came. . Spine that runs on bearing in freespool delete (winch gear) was flattened so explained why she wouldn't come out but unsure why the damage happened[emoji848].

Anyways fixed spline good enough, taped hole and put bolt in and and happy days. Upgraded brake shaft in and looks good, everything so much more secure than the standard warn set up. .Put winch back in car worked all good till bloody noisy and realised put ratchet plate in backwards damitt. . . Fixed that then happy days[emoji106][emoji106]

New rope & hook. .
http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...2022/02/12.jpg
Removable dildo works a treat thought spotties might be an issue but think all good. .

New improved delta tec clip thingy should hopefully be a bit more durable than before[emoji106]. . .

GQ back in the hills after a bit of a birthday party at the auto elec and workshop. . List of things fixed as follows. . . Had parasitic draw tracked down to faulty alternator which I need to chase up and replace as is brand new but at least know what it is. . Installed lift pump (Carter). Was thinking optima batteries both just over a year old were knackered but with new big earth strap is cranking of its head now so very happy[emoji106]. Pyro fixed ( needle was off chops all over the place). Fixed battery monitor not showing imput from redarc BCDC (neg wasn't going through shunt simple fix but needed fresh set of more professional eyes). Think that's about it in the auto elec department she's petty sorted now (apart from swap alternator) so ready to put in Redwinch supercharger soon. . . Picked up from there then dropped @YV4WD for new front wheel bearings, stub axles and uni joint in rear shaft bloody Tassie mud damitt. . Think she's about ready to enjoy now[emoji106][emoji106]

looking good old mate its been a long project !!
So after last trip away ARB single compressor which is pretty old and done a heap of work gave up on life, luckily held on long enough to run lockers and winch freespool for a marathon winch halfway up Mt Selma. Decided to upgrade to Little one to run lockers and winch freespool and double for tyres. . Long time coming as usual but all installed now. .
http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum.../2022/10/2.jpg
Old single was mounted in corner and as locker compressor nice and compact managed to move that to back of aux battery tray and fit in red winch supercharger in corner spot. . Fits prefect was meant to be lol. . .

Looking back at this thread was a year ago got everything discontented from aux battery tray to hook up 24v . . Can't rush things I spose but close now lol.
Put double under front seat and fits a treat [emoji106]
http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum.../2022/10/6.jpg
Used old fire extinguisher (cheers Daz) for air tank directly under it. .

http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum.../2022/10/8.jpg
Got rid of most of the ARB loom and ran 6b&s through midi fuse from lithium in the back. Apart from that you can just switch the compressor from the purple wire going into it. .

http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...2022/10/10.jpg
Gave it a little go and seems like it will be a beast. Certainly wouldn't want to run lockers off it if mounted in cab, she loud and also may double as a masage seat on those long and lonely trips [emoji106][emoji106]

I see you have the intake filter at floor level. I ran a hose under the carpet and door trims so I could mount the filter in the rear quarter panel trim card. It made it a hell of a lot quieter as the intake is so far from the piston. Now there is less chance of flooding the compressor.
Thats why the last one wore out [emoji1787] . . .

I need to put a compressor in the Mrs new car, I've been tempted to buy a twin ARB and put it in my Patrol, then take the single out of my Patrol for her MUX... hmmmm still thinking about it.
It’s easier to ask forgiveness, than get permission for your well planned “Good Family Adventure GQ Upgrades”Chrisso Mate [emoji106][emoji106]
FWIW: ARB twins need at least their purchased outlet rubber/braided lines given within. Great things, crikey than can melt lines if attempting to get ingenious re-routing and nuffy stuff [emoji23]
