Pitb but finally drilled and wired up my DRLs. they are switched through a negitive earth.
they are 9 watt bulls eye, I have permission from Clubby8 lol, they are 100mm apart,
I will also be wiring a flat cob light into the system to illuminate the winch spool.
All led so little power draw.
Highly recommend these Cob leds for any lighting you may have
Got around to fitting a boost adaptor plate , that fits under the OE sensor.
Took about 2 mins and looks very neat, was it worth $50 not sure but saves you drilling
or soldering on any bungs.
My old teflon one broke and I cant see how, boost was all over the place.
Hopefully this boost plate adaptor will fix that. it even came with spacers for the engine cover
but I dont have mine fitted. Highly recommend
Weather still cold as a frog here today

Had a chance to take it for a decent run, forgot how good it was on the hwy.
x 3 need to nip up one side giving a bit of a wobble under brakes, weather is
on our side this weekend so see no reason it cant be done.
Replaced original radiator fan - plastic was cracked almost right through on every blade LOL
Put in new cbAttachment 61583Attachment 61584
sanded my rear bar, should be primed by now.
Went to toolangi area and in the middle of nowhere on some track we come across a gigantic hippy community festival.
Here's one photo and this went on for at least 400m. There were some pretty messed up people using pipes for ice etc.
Would of been easy 400 people there and 100-200 cars tents caravans trucks and campers.
There was also a fully burnt out caravan still hitched on the car which we found out they had an electrical fault on stove...lol
We just had had to drive straight through this community with peace hand gestures flying everywhere. ;)
Some pretty hot looking free loving babes too...lol
Reminds me of my first time in Toolangi when we ran into a similar site. But a bit further up the road were cops, as some of the greenies chained them selves up to dozers, excavators and other tree clearing machinery.
And here we are a convoy of 4x4's with chainsaws, axes and shovels on some roof racks. LOL Quickest U turn ever.
Took it for a family road trip to the otways.
Cracker of a day.
They have a "Love in" at Tallarook every now and again, was sitting
on Warragul rocks looking over the Vista and 2 "babes" just up and sat beside us.
Too Ferral for my tastes, Grandpa always said "never go out with a chick with more armpit hair than you do,"
Very savvy man my Grandpa lol
Took the rooftop tent off and advertised it for sale along with the custom side awning I had made.
bolted my awning to the support bar, nice and sturdy now
Buffed up the alloy bull bar and fitted my Gumtree $25 set of IPF 900's LOL
M@
I have had no issues thus far. Likewise though I have been pretty happy easy change out feom the old one
Replaced my cracked radiator reservoir tank this morning
Fitted my new (to me anyway), rear LED light pole from Kallen, also fitted two floodlight LED work lights to my rack for camp light and to see the side of tracks if required, wired up neatly with two rocker switches in my console.
Also fitted some new speakers from Supercheap, 6 inch Sony two ways for $19.95 a pair! They sound a lot better than the old 8 watt paper done ones that I took out, course the fact the cones were no longer attached / torn right round the edge probably didn't help their audio quality much!
Good to hear it arrived safely
