Hahahaha nope, just waiting to have enough coin again to swap out the stereo and put a 2din multi-use unit back in.
Like having the ability to run multiple gps apps at the same time. Sounds like a bit of an overkill but has helped out more times than I can remember as we all know different map providers have different levels / layers of detail in their maps, this way I get tons of coverage.
Will be getting a bluetooth OBDII unit as well to run in the back ground.
Got a link to which unit you got?
Filled up the new second hand long range auxiliary tank only to find out the drain plug washer is seeping fuel. Ugh!
Yeah... Its only seeping, the plug it only wet a little. So its not even dripping on the ground. I'll have to wait now until its empty to worry about it.
Finally removed my roof platform, boy how dirty can a roof get lol
makes me think twice about fitting the new one, then again I can always go to TJM and get the boys there to lift it off.
getting them to come here to lift it on lol
300 layers enough you think or should I apply 350lol
some how a stick from the tree out the front has put a dent in the roof,
no biggie but I know its there GGGRRRrrr
One of the headlight globes called it quits so decided to upgrade to one of the Narva Arctic ones.
Found out what a major PITA changing gloves is, especially on passenger side. Much much easier to remove the headlight assembly.
Saves a lot of skin, blood, nerves and swear words...
:1062: 2 beers later, job done . :1062:
Good results.

I swear I read somewhere Eric that you had an ARE scoop on. I swear I seen it on too... I gotta stay off the funny stuff.:clownredpuff:
Nope never had one fitted. I pre-ordered one, but at that time it was gonna take forever to come in. So i gave up...
Yeah, to same some skins, it really is super quick. 3 bolts each side, with a 10mm socket and it's out. And that way you can see exactly how you're slotting in the globe and how that spring clamp works.
Got a new lightbar today, however I can't figure out why it isn't work. I suspect that it has to do with the previous owners wiring in the cabin end, the rest I did myself and triple checked. I pulled out his wiring from the bonnet end and it pissed out water, pretty bad smell to it as well. That is clearly not good, good thing I am doing it.
Going to the brother-in-laws tomorrow so might ask him or his brother if they can suss it out for me. I'm a boilermaker by trade not a elecko and not very good with electronics. lol
GQ's are the same. I recently upgraded my globes and in the end the passenger side headlamp was removed. Just no room behind it to get ya hand in behind it. Damn pre-cleaner is in the way. lol
Put an extra earth lead from the chassis to the body yesterday as apparently these earthing on these cars arent the best.
Now my air bag light flashes! Ugh!
Well not today, but a week ago I put a carbi kit through after the dissy played up, as I though I had a tank of bad lpg as it misfired and backfired after leaving the servo near Bundanoon/Exeter. Played with the float again, solved most of my problems with a can of carbi cleaner and found that the float drop setting is just as important as its height(full) setting. Now it fills and stops on the sight glass dot, although the fuel return solenoid is stuck permanently in the full open position, which I assume will mean I lose some of my fuel bowl filling pressure at higher engine speed.
After rekitting the carb, I found a small rubber plug on the driveway, yesterday. The Gregorys manual shows a pic of it, it goes next to the accel plunger, manual says ball, spring, weight, PLUG. Dammit, I looked at the thing for a while and it didn't seem entirely unfamiliar to me. I pulled the carbi apart a few years ago with the same dramas, after neglecting to use the petrol system for too long, and recalled a small plug between the top cover and the main carbi body. The carbi still started on petrol without it, but stalled like it had been on lpg, which turned out to be the ignition module in the rb30 dissy playing silly buggers with me. One minute I had spark, next I didn't.
So, about today. I have to put the rubber plug back in. I hate finding left over bits. At least I hadn't driven around on the petrol and thought I had more issues, as the lpg is running without this tiny bung in place.
I could have saved a lot of time, and diagnosed the dissy problem straight away, if I had kept the petrol side up to scratch.
