Gridded the sht out of my shock towers and painted em tomorrow to cut the wheel arches for access to the shock top bolt
Made a couple of recovery points for the front 20mm plate
Measured up so I know what size bits to buy for my barn door folding table I need to build
Serviced it.
510,000. Still going.
So I thought I'd throw it on ramps to aid under it like I do the falcon.
Was wicked. Could have a game of cricket under there.
What I'd didnt think about though was the rest of it.

Looks like I'm changing filters and filling off a ladder.
That's a 5ft ladder lol
FYI. The car is level. My driveway is downhill
And for the last week I've been smashing out my newest addition.

Looks awesome Kallen. Nice work
Just finished extending the front shock mounts, I only managed to get an extra 40mm and it was a tight fit even with some wheel arch pannel work and a 60mm hole cut up the top to access the top of the shock
Tidied up the UHF wiring
Washed it
Bit of touch up paint on some stone chips
I used a 60 mm and the top bush retainer barely fit through it I'll put up a pic in a bit
Is your on a GU or a GQ? I’ve got no body lift and I had to slightly trim the tower on one side and the shock bush retaining washer is above the wheel arch and inside the engine bay.
The passenger side was the easier of the 2 as the fuel filter bracket is on the driver side.
Well not much but i've finished all my dual battery system by just adding the final plug to the rear for solar panels and put up a webbing cargo net.. i know not many like the webbing nets but it works for my needs. Oh and i soaked my Burke & Will Nullarbor Swag twice and am just letting it dry in the sun.. I'm ready for the great outdoors nearly.. all whilst slamming some richie hawtin on the new speakers and warming up for a night at my local!
Today is alright!

Also swapped the awnings over so now have the 180 deg supapeg peg awning, I will see if I can get the tent and awning up in the next few days and get pics but she is off in the morning to get a few things finished prior to Xmas.
broke it no blinkers no rear lights no don't know which relay to check
Washed it after a fun weekend away... I must have dislodged 30KG of clay and mud.
I finally changed the clutch and brake fluid. There was blue fluid in the reservoir, but the fluid in the brake lines was a dirty yellow. So much for a full service by the car yard I got the Old Trol from.
Repaired the rear tail light thanks to a couple of cable ties. The Y61 rear end is the ugliest, most poorly designed, piece of crapolla out there IMHO. That it pops indicators if you drag it on the ground is a joke, I'm tempted to go a steel bar just to get rid of it :/
Fitted the supapeg awning great quality just a shame they didn't put Velcro on the roof to attach to the frame at the back, it will sit up against the rrt when it's folded out

Fitted my cargo barrier. Bought it Tuesday for $150, in almost perfect condition, fits spot on with just a little adjustment to the brackets, now I don't have to worry about things bouncing around into our heads, awesome!
Loaded the kids up and went looking at Xmas lights last night..... It was good seeing there reactions but for me it was about as much fun as the forum lights....zzz.
Installed ironman snorkel
Well after going each night at my car after last weekends disastrous ending for me I am still going. Got all my lights back in and cleaned. I thought I only had thw clutch to worry about. Wrong. Started the shitter up this morning to go to work and the battery light was on, also the sub tank light! Checked the charge status of the alternator and it's at 11v. Ugh!
Had a similar issue a few months ago, gave the alternator a good blast with a pressure washer. Then started it up and came good. Won't do any more harm!!
X2. Our good douse of degreaser, high pressure clean and then some crc around the bearings and all good.
Far out mate. Last outing gave you a bit of grief eyy...
I had the Patrol on stands before, cleaned, high pressure washed and gave it a good drenching with Ct18 underneath. Replaced air filter, cleaned MAF, took intercooler off and gave it a good clean and degrease as it was full of oil.
Rolled the winch rope out and gave that a nice clean as well. Time for a few coldies now...
To make things worse the rear lower bolt on the alternator wont budge and if I try harder I feel the bolt will just round off. Then Im stuffed.
Almost finished my rear door table, can't wait to use it, just need some nutserts for the trim clip holes, and some bolts to suit and it should be sorted.
Finally cleaned all the NT dirt off the car, now to find some good QLD mud.
Cleaned the white overspray off the black flares
