I finally got around to wiring up my led reverse light, as we all know how good the factory setup is.

I bought a set of black widow drawers out of a 100 series, also came with a cargo barrier (didn't fit which was expected) divider and shelf. Picked up a new cargo barrier early today and fitted the lot. Took all day to my surprise as I expected a couple of hours but getting the holes right and doing up the bolts was harder than expected. Then had to modify the wings to fit in the patrol but overall it worked out great. 1 mistake was I accidenty snapped off a bolt that i didn't end up needing to undo where the tie down point mid way right hand side, hopefully it is not important for anything. Other than that I can't complain as I got them for a steal.
I fitted new spark plugs and leads as the Old Trol started backfiring. The tiny RB30 runs really good now, like a scared cat dragging an anvil up steep hill.
Gave her an oil chainge, fitted a catch can and washed out the intercooler and pipes. Fitted the drawers from my dead prado yesterday.
Today I installed a temp gauge on the dash for my auto trans . I cut into the line from the tranny to the oil cooler with a 1/2'' t piece.

Put my new sticker on, cheers Taslucas
Just finished putting the door trims back on after dry-lubing all the window tracks and gears. Much quieter and smoother window action all around.
Funnily enough I had to do that to my passenger front window yesterday. Pain in the butt pulling trims off but worth it in the end.
Probably should do all mine too, lucky for me the only thing off the rails at the moment is the wife.
Replaced and moved tow plug after smashing it off for the 7 millionth time last w/end.
Sounds like wombat claimed a few trailer plugs, good thing mine never had one. Reminds me I need to get motivated and actually wire one up.
This is the third time I've torn mine up. First at tallarook, completely smashed it and the bracket, and then in the high country few weeks ago, and now wombat had a go at it too... I was just being lazy and re-attaching it to the original, vulnerable spot. This time I'll do a proper job and mount it on the back of the actual main tow bar beam, instead of the thin bracket, so it hangs lower. My tow bar loom also got mangled bad so, I bought a new one from nissan today.
I did nothing to the patrol but I did get the Harley out of mothballs for summer :)

Had the battery on charge last night.
New bfg AT 33s. So much more pleasant to drive not listening to the howl of the previous muddies. Now I can hear the v8 growel much better.:)
That's a great idea. But I can't open my spare wheel carrier with camper on.

Hopefully this time the bloody 80 doesn't break down and I can finish what I start
I did start re-wiring the tow harness, but I'm too comfortable now with a few empty cans... It can wait.
Umm maybe when you are doing trailer plugs try this .When I was doing a lot of bush work on dirt and corrugations driving road trains we used to wire everything so it worked then separated all the plugs (male and female) and filled them with silicon that stopped bulldust , water ,vibrating out ,and gunge shorting every thing out . In the case of Catwomens photo I would mount to where the 4 holes were for the tie down point using the female plug mounting points .
Perfect weather for a few drinks, a new filter and a MAF clean.

Fitted some led globes in the rear, plus some resistors for the indicators. Also finally fitted my reco'd winch back in. And fixed my issue of the screen on the head unit flashing with the rhs indicator when the brake pedal was press. Lucky find really. Removed the rhs rear indicator socket and ran a wire from the earth lead to the chassis and it worked straight off. That was easy... wish every fault was that easy to find. Plus I put my Stebel horn back in....
Fitted LED front parkers and blinkers into the Bullbar and fitted my Runva 11XP winch and some bling winching LEDs.
Need to either charge my Aux battery and test or chuck it and buy a new one.
Must also clean the MAF and change the air filter before going away this weekend,
plus add some Castrol T2 and some Nulon injector cleaner
Need to find why I don't have any indicators and brakes on the non dummy lights. Reverse lights work but nothing else. All fuses are good.
