Makita 18v blower to help getting our alpine fires started, @MudRunnerTD, @matfew, @MB
With your Makita 'saw' in 1 hand & the Makita blower in the other you'll be unstoppable - I feel my reign as 'the god of fire' might be under threat 😳
Hahaha dodging the wife's questions 😝
@bigguwesty All-Terrain T/A KO2 31X10.5R15 109S $255, going by the size you stated in a previous post. Here`s a link, which would make it easier to look for the size of tyres and save me typing. There should be a tyre size chooser on the left of the page, that has All Terrains, High Performance, Muddies etc etc. Give it a go and hope it works. The tyres I want are 305/70/16 which are $409, but have been quoted $380 for the same size from another known tyre joint in Maryborough.

Typo on my behalf, I copied and pasted a 15 inch rim size. All depends on if you want a swag or not I guess and it`s there to get people in to buy tyres as you know. I bought 305/70/16 bfg muddies ($350) back in 2009, when they had a Bush Ranger air compressor on offer for four tyres and it saved me buying a compressor from else where to pump up the tyres.
Might have bought another HiMount.............
Another CAV Filter setup for under the vehicle to replace the in-line style ryco units - $70 delivered. Also bought a 12V band heater to wrap around the fuel filter to stop the paraffin drop out at low temps, as a couple of us experienced this last snow trip. Band heater is 250mm long x 50mm wide, heats the fuel to 65 deg C, and cheap - $30 delivered.
Link please Phil mate :-) !

The heater elements are avail in a wide variety. i will also be buying a 150mm x 150mm sq. self adhesive patch to stick on the side of the main tank, but this can wait. The heater on the front filter that was passed around is corca 330mm x 100mm but its about $165 to buy, so I think based on how effective and fast the pad heats up, this smaller unit would whip it, plus for the number of uses, its bargain buying I reckon - just have to wait 3 minutes instead of 2 i reckon. Just need to ensure the heater is temp limited as some on ebay heat to 300DgC plus for large bio-fuel tanks, and 12V
Some new coaxial and base for the UHF as mine is never amazing and is too short. Aparently once you pull apart the base it never works the same again on those GME ones. . . Also a new carling switch as one of mine is a bit crap and the plug for the stereo turned up so back to wiring again soon, YAY . . .

Just double check the oil in it before you use it @Hodge
I used to work for them and they sometimes had no oil in them from the factory

Mate you were spot on. Either it's not topped up fully or theres none in there. Says it's meant to be 5mm above inner cylinder, in the photo you can see the inner cylinder with no sign of oil above or around it. That's really poor form I reckon.

@Hodge yep used to get them like that all the time. Near on single warranty claim we had was because of low or no oil. Take it back and they will fill it for you if you want

150X150mm,90W@12V. w/ 3M PSA & Sponge, Keenovo Universal Silicone Heater Pad/Mat
2 off 12V 90W heater pads for both fuel tanks, got them on ebay, of course.
I spoke to my hydraulic diesel mechanic before and he says many of those jacks come with no oil depending on how they arrive from China. It's a maritime environmental Law some of them can't be shipped filled with oil and have to be filled in Aus instead. Or something along those lines .
Is this the reason you think?
