Hey mate, I think you can use the block coolant drain plug, someone please correct me if this is wrong!?
Its a 12mm bolt thats sat right up behind that fitting that is on the right hand side of the block halfway up. Prick of a thing to get at if the engine is in.
Attachment 61170 Hi Ash is this the bolt...
Yes, that's the drain plug for the block. It's 1/4 BSPT thread.
Your other option is to put T pieces in your 2 heater hoses.
Factory turbo engine has these fittings

Yeh mate thats the one! easier than T-peicing heater hose I reckon. Thats what ill be using when I get time to turbo my mighty TD42!
Yes ok I think I will utilize this stabbing and plumb up to it, so now its just the water pickup line where to afix to then Im sorted for the moment. Hope someone buys my low mileage TB42E.lol
Water will come from the coolant drain plug. You can put the return in the thermostat housing using a t where the heater hose returns.

What is low mileage? I still have my TB45E engine in the shed, it's only done 136k kms. They're not worth a lot..
