Hello everyone,

Does anybody knows if I can fit a GU transfer case into a MK transmission, I know the bolts will not be any where near (not the problem) but I am more interested if the yoke will fit right in. I know it sounds crazy but pretty much anything can be done it just takes a little measurments and some work but nothing it cant be done.

Well mate if I tell you I would cover the whole forum but the main reason its because I have a sd33 into a GQ body and therefore the rear prop shaft being missalign because as you know the t-case from a MK is offset to the right meaning that the drive shaft would have a miss alignment from the right to the center (not very much really if you look at it) but a t-case with the rear output to the center will be the solution.

You might be saying why just donīt buy everything original (td42 + tranny and t-case) but unfortunately I donīt have the money to do that unless somehow I win the lottery or something some day. I always been a fan of nissan patrol and always wanted on, now I have one but w/o the original power plant. I already manage to put it my only option which is a sd33 with the original k160 tranny and t-case which is wont be much but I am not planning to do any racing or any extreme off road just the the everyday driving + maybe some mud here and than so my main question to is WILL THE SD33 BE ENOUGH POWER FOR THAT????

OHH and besides that I will soon be a daddy so I donīt have much to spent on my patrol which I would love but even though I love my patrol, what matters to me is my daughther, wife and family.

and thatīs just the tip of the iceberg my friend.
