Hi all, thanks for the great forum, I have been lurking for a while finding answer to questions. About 6 month ago I received a 1999 GU ute from my best mate who sadly passed away from cancer. I am using it as a weekender for now and as funds become available I would like to do a full restoration. It is mechanically very good with the engine, fuel pump, turbo etc... all being reco about 3 years ago. Has leaf springs in the rear as it was a work ute. Coil conversion would be cool but not sure if I will worry about it. Anyway thanks for the good info I have been getting off the forum, I really don't know a lot about the Patrols yet.... Cheers Jim
