Turbo Make

I had my new Patrol over my mates place (he is a Patrol owner as well, 2006 4.2 TD) he noticed that it was a Garrett turbo fitted to mine.

Are these a standard item or is it an after market affair, is there must of a difference between the standard turbo and the Garrett one

It's an aftermarket affair. Could you please tell me Garret charger number installed on you engine? I think i'll have to change my charger soon, and original one is too expensive in Russia.
