hi guys need some help need a new 2in lift kit to put in my gu 4.2 patrol been looking at tuff dog and raw nitro shocks
anyone used the raw set up dont know much about them but need something solid in there any help would be good

read big Fletchs build thread, he has just fit 2" flexi coils with pro-comp 4" shocks'
What do you use the patrol for, touring, towing ,,week ends ???

Did have Raw on our Hilux, they did the Anne Beadell and Gibb River no worries with a heavy load and it had 50mm lift.
On the Patrol I have had Tough Dog Ralphs up front and Big Bore adjustable on the rear again with a 50mm lift.
They have been on 3 years and at 2 1/2 years did the Anne Beadell & the Canning without any problems at all, what amazed me is they never faded once and considering the track conditions I was very happy with my choice.
The Dogs are a fair bit bigger for the bigger Patrol, the front live axle has to make the shock do more that an IFS front like the Lux had.
So both are probably OK

Try looking at superior suspension, I personally have dobinson suspension setup on mine.
