Hi all. I'm wondering what everyone thinks is a fair price for an immaculate 2003 GU, 3.0l diesel?
It's a 5 speed manual, intercooled. One owner, 57,000k, country car (not near the coast), not lifted, not modded, original and very well kept, never had any mechanical problems.

What do you think it's worth?

I would say 22 to 26k being a 2003 model. I saw a local vehicle for sale for 22k and its 2006 but it has 200k on it.

You could possibly get bit more with such low k's

Yeah X 2 from $22k up to $25k , clean as it is and un modded its an 03 model, sadly 3lt don't hold value like their 4.2 brothers, plus you have no accessories
Just M2CW

Thanks For giving Ned his head back NH

I bought my GU 2004 last year @ $22K. 4x4 MT. New Fuel injectors. New Turbo. New Radiator. Fachion Bullbar and Tail Spoiler. Touch screen DVD player and ceiling mounted monitor. She had 57k kms. No tools left except the jack. Best buy maybe.

Price sounds good, but if it needed a turbo and injectors it must've had serious problems previously.
My brother blew a Navara turbo under warranty, but he was rock climbing and towing a boat a lot.

That was the disadvantage of seldom used vehicle. Not running for weeks or months. Diesel impurities could clog the lines. The previous owner wanted to replaced all parts suspected contibutory to low power output. Grenade? No.

Thanks for asking.

That doesn't explain the new radiator, and the turbo doesn't have diesel going through it. Still sounds a bit odd to me.

Odd or no odd, that doesn't matter anymore to me. Ive drived the truck @ 150kph with my left foot under the gas pedal which means it has more to give.

Thank you for your remarks!

It was a rush sale. The previous owner is a CA patient. He is still in the US for treatment.

Hi Ripper, I just purchased my 2003 GU Patrol for $30.000, some may say it a bit too much for that model, It is a one owner vehicle, has nearly all the main mods Lift kit and everything fitted is by ARB Front and rear bars, side rails, twin batteries, air compressor, full service history serviced every 5000 klm owner never took it off road the under carriage look like new sorry to say it doesn’t any more but that’s why I purchased it.
