Hi,Im just about to order a Hi Lift Jack and just wondered if a 60" is a bit much and weather a 48" will do,Its going to be mounted on top of my bulbar but only when we go off road as the brackets just un-bolt and its only $5 more for the 60" but will I need the extra ? I have a standard Series 8 ST Patrol and have got a couple of accessories for it like the Bumper Lift already. I hope not to use it if I can help it but it pays to be prepared and they seem a very versatile piece of kit.

For $5 more, why not get the bigger one? I cant think of any downside to having a bigger one.....we all want bigger ones! lol

Not called widow makers for nothing, with coil sprung 4x4s the longer one would suit you better.
You can run out of jack very quickly with a 4" lift, unless you lift by the hub
