Hi Guys, after no replys here, when and did a short couse on how to adjust your tappers and the teacher was a mate who teacher's at Tafe . anyway hour there at his place which the donor car was 4.2 diesel , went home to do mine , remembered number 6 cyl values once the exhast tappet stats going down ,stop and adjust cyl 1 ,then crank over to next which was 5 cyl ,adjust 2 cyl then 4 , 3 2 & 1 , so the last adjustment will be 6 cyl . put her back togehter and started , Big Smile on face , motor not shaking at idle on cold starts , put it in gear(auto) and no wanting to stall feeling, :-) happy about that, " Note to anyone" if running like shit , it might just it needs Tappets adjusting regards Alex
p.s. mind you the GU 4.5 has just 5,350 km on my last trip 2 weeks ago and never let me down , but the fuel cost well that another story, cheers
