GU roof weight rating

Hi

Just confirmin what I think I already know....

I'm looking at a ARB roof top tent and touring rack but after looking at the numbers it all ads up to more than the 100kg roof limit.
When I spoke top ARB they said they were 99% sure the actual spec is 150kg. So I followied up with the dealer and ask specifically about the roof rating (not the rails) and they came back with the 100kg.

Does/has anyone had a rating of 150kg confirmed by Nissan for a roof of a GU?

Both gq and gu's are rated for 100 kg's mate........ but its all to do with static weight and weight while your on the move. Your fine sleeping in a roof top tent but when on the move carrying over 100kgs you run the risk of ripping off your gutters.

There is another thread here somewhere where it is explained better than I can........ will try and dig it out for you if you need
