    cracked head & botom end

    i have a cracked head on my gq tb42, dont know weather i should do the bottom end as well, the water is not going into the oil, i just top it up with water and runs like a dream the motor has done around 300,000 ks. it i do a test on the compression what should it be. and how would be for me to rebuild the bottom end...

    Standard compression pressure for a Tb42 is 1177 kPa
    minimum is 883 kPa
    maximum variation between cylinders is 98 kPa.

    I have just done the compression test on the motor and it was all around 750 kpa the motor was cold. do the motor have to be warm to get a true reading.
