Screeching from rear drivers wheel when turning left
So, bit of a back story. I went to my mates shack and he conned me into going through the clay fields (my first time ever off-road).
Got bogged, and clay was everywhere in the drivers side wheels (along with the shell grit and everything)
Cleaned it out once I got back, took the wheels off and everything, got into the rear wheels, brake pads and everything.
Shortly after I put the wheels back on I noticed the squealing/screeching from what I can assume is the rear drivers side wheel when turning left and any speed.
Took the wheel off and inspected it and nothing was out of the ordinary.
My first thought was brakes but it still occurs even if I'm not braking.
Anyone experienced this or can off a fix?
Can provide more details if necessary.
Cheers!

Are the disc backing plates still attached, if so, something may or may not be stuck between plate and disc

I am he, fear me
Intermittent squealing when turning is also symptomatic of a dodgy rear wheel bearing...
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

Yeah I'd start with rear wheel bearings too. Mine used to squeal on deceleration.

Patrol God
Check that the pinion nut on the diff is at the correct torque, as it can also try and lock the wheel when turning. Although the sound appeared only when I turned hard to the right.

It could also be an indicator for a rear diff lock being left engaged, semi-colapsed LSD plates, wheel bearings, or diff bearings.

I was thinking that, considering it only occurred after I had power washed the clay and shell grit after taking the wheel off.
Just got to figure out how to take it off and check.

4.8s often squeal from the back wheels/tires. It's a Fitek thing

Haha I get that.
I'm just not sure whether I'm causing any damage to my car or not. Hasn't affected anything as of yet (touch wood).

Yep, the most common reason when backing plates are in place.
