No idea on why some do or some dont. It was the only jacks we had to do it with. All the other types / brands were fine. I suspect a few of them were made in China as well. The maratime law your mechanic talked about could have some merit. I dont know honestly. @GeeYou8 yes there is jack oil in a little bottle. Its no different to standard hydraulic oil. Just branded different. Nothing special about it.

Some cheap port to fill my barrel up with. Now for the wait, and i hope it turns out. As the cheap port it pretty much goats piss. Lol. The barrel has been soaking in whiskey for the last week so heres hoping.

I used to have an oak port barrell marko. Cheapest port flagon you can buy came out gold mate! Just gotta give it time. Taste it 3 months and on til you get the good stuff
What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal??

Yeah thats what I have, a french oak barrel, only a 5ltr one though... A cooper from Cobram made it. I've got 200ml of whiskey in it aswell to give it some bite. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out. When funds are better I would like to get another barrel and age some whiskey in it.

You are welcome anytime mate. The place is an absolute mess right now though. Kinda started doing what I can with the plumbing side of things, then getting rained out, then having work. Shite everywhere.
