Car died as driving help please

Hi guy and girls today i was driving to work and my car just stopped and now it wont start again it cranks over just wont start as this happened to anyone

Its just died no sign before it happened

What year? What motor? Did it cut out instantly or cough and splutter then die? Were you coasting/braking/accelerating?
