Newbie here with lots of questions 1st one " what is this"?

OK having grown up on Land rovers I know nothing about Patrols. I pick up my first one next week. A 2003 4.8 ST-L.. So I apologies in advance for all the stupid newbie questions I'm about to ask.

First one, What is this? and what do I do with it?

Only AC Control though ... no heat or no fan only, which Nissan if you are listening, I would love to have a fan only setting .....

I will have to look at modifying it at some stage.....
