I cleaned all the oil and crap off my engine yesterday so I can find where the slow oil leak is coming from also bought a new waterpump a couple of days before to fix a constant coolent leak running down the front (I check our 3 vehicles weekly for water and oil) and since I bought the waterpump, no leaks and of course since I've cleaned the engine, no oil leaks. Maybe I'm just inpatient or its all waiting to go to pot as soon as I'm more than a 100klm's from home. Just in case someone asks, the oil is running down the left hand side near the turbo. I'll be taking the plastic engine cover off tomorrow to check the catch can hoses and just do another visual inspection.
As usual I am a bit slow in posting. Recently had a full swivel hub rebuild including wheel bearings etc done by Patrolapart - yes I could have done it myself ( I have done this a few times before on other vehicles , the last being on my 75 Series Troopy ) but in all honesty the day off is worth more to me, besides Tony Abbott has generously offered to pick up part of the tab. While they were at it I got them to fit a set off slotted & dimple drilled rotors that I supplied. Also had a set ( 5 ) of BFG KM2s fitted by Tyrepower in Wodonga. Still to fit my new radiator that I had made by ARE back in March. Also planning to fit a new viscous fan clutch, fan & thermistat, radiator hoses etc- all of which are sitting in the spare room at home. Must get it done before summer. Incidentally over Easter I had a tyre that was losing about 1psi / hr, took it in to be repaired only to be told that the rim was cracked- very rare apparently - long story short even though rim was 18 months old Dynamic Rims freighted a new one from Adelaide to Wodonga, Tyrepower swapped & balanced old tyre on new the rim all at no charge to me 10/10 .
Remember that a high IQ doesn't make up for a lack of common sense.Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself !

The halls been rented the bands been paid, time to see you dance!
So this morning was spent setting up gas struts for the bonnet of the old girl so I can finally do the work I need to under the bonnet without having to worry about bumping the stupid stick and having the bonnet fall on me. Also relocated my two way aerial up to the roof rack to try and get a little more range out of it.
