Drain Holes
It's been me vs my truck for over 2 years now. I ripped out all the carpet and underlay, found huge pools of water starting to rust my floor pan. I sponged all the water out, wire brushed the rust out, hit the whole floor with killrust (great product) and then set about finding where the water was coming in. Both sides mind you, driver and passenger.
Ive had my head up under that dashboard so many times, tried using the talcum powder method, i think the water is coming in via those large plastic grommets. So i pulled out the brake booster, siliconed the grommet up.
A big rain came.

Me 0.
Water again.
Lost for ideas i got the sh|ts and went and got some foam spray. I napalmed those grommets from the inside and it seemed to fix it.
Anyway, the waters back (passenger side)

Ive been defeated.
Im thinking about punching a drill hole through the pan for the water to escape.
Thoughts?
