    did it exist? LHD GQ/Y60?

so, im trying to restore an Y60 imported from japan, and could use some parts from LHD vehicles as mine has been "converted" from RHD to LHD, so, does anyone know if the GQ was ever sold in a LHD market? all references i come up with are from either UK , JP, or of course, OZ....

Yes, they do exist. They were available in continental Europe. I drove one from Germany with 2.8 L turbo diesel, 5 speed manual and auto locking hubs. I'm pretty sure they don't call them GQs over there.
    Cheers

Yep my mate had one in Saudi, but I can't remember what model they called it. It wasn't a GQ. Do a bit more searching, you must be able to find it. As Boulbus says there are still heaps of them (and parts) available in the Middle East.
    Thanks, Cameron

They are officially Y60's everywhere because he Nissan designation for the Model run is Y60 (as on the compliance plate).
A RHD Y60 is known as a GQ, a LHD Y60 is known as a GR but people tend to interchange the terms which can get confusing.
A Japanese domestic Y60 with 24 Volt electrics is known as a Safari
Quite a few Jap Y60 24 volt high roof wagons made it to Oz where they retained the Safari reference

Hope that helps in your sleuthing...

Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.
