Need Help with VNT tunning and guages (ZD30)

Hi, Just finished replacing piston rings for GU Zd30 making a 320,000Km. I have blocked EGR and tried playing with VNT, when i have F***ed it up and lost factory setup. I have just installed a boost gauge and a Dawes Valve. Dawes valve made a big difference, yet boost does not go beyond 7 Psi. when removing the metal pole connecting from Turbo to inter-cooler i found some oil which i assume it is coming from the Turbo.. What does that mean? does it say turbo is having issues??

The other thing that i have realized is when starting the engine at anytime it blows black smoke for 30 seconds and then cuts out. when pressing the accelerator in a constant high RPM i also see a very slight black smoke, what does that mean aswell??

P.S. when driving on a high way speedometer does not go more than 100Km/H and that is on around 2400-2500 RPM and it really takes a while to reach that.

Requesting your professional help. I really did alot of reading but bearly understood what am doing

    Cheers.

15ish psi boost is what you want try adjusting yours daws and needle set up to reach this. I hope you haven't moved the grub screw on the turbo. Oil is normal. You'll be down on power and blowing smoke till you give it mire boost

Thank you Macca86. I feel my problem is with the grub screw on the turbo. my problem is that i have moved it and know i dont know which is its ideal place that it was on. I lost the mark. Which is the best way to readjust it correctly.

    Wail.

Turn it a 1/4 a turn then test drive till it feels right and gets boost up

I had my Turbo been inspected by a specialist and confirmed it is dead. So i had it replaced with a new one. Now i adjusted my Dawes and needle valves so boost is around 15 to 16PSI. I did not touch the factory setting for the VNT. Still i can feel a lag at the 2nd gear when RPM is at about 2.3 and speedometer is not going beyond 95Km/h on the 5th gear... Do you have any idea what can this be from?
Can the black smoke when starting be from the Glow plugs? because i know that all 4 plugs of mine are not working and in the process of replacing them.
Any advise i will be thankful.

Finally, got everything in place and the pride is running like a charm. There turned to be a socket that i missed plugin it in which i basically dont know what it is "Appreciate if someone can tell me what it is for" <<attached photo>>.
My next step is to route my boost and EGT gauges hose and wires through the front of the firewall to the top of the dash. any clue as to the best way to do that and where to provide the EGT gauge its 12V current from?
