What is the picture of the portico? Looks interesting in the middle of seemingly nowhere.....
Is the picture with the house in it, where someone lives for the whole year?

That establishment is a private property and belongs to a medim-size company. It's not their headquarters
but a place where management goes sometimes, and maye they do some teambuidings there... Not sure.
Most of the houses in that area are not occupied the whole year, even though there are people living in the mountain villages at higher altitudes than the one presented here.

Most of the trees grow naturally. Unfortunately, may acres of forest are cut down without thinking. The concept of sustainable developement is just a buzz-word for may of our politicians. In the first picture you can see just the tip of the iceberg...
The offroad clubs here are involved in humanitary actions for planting new trees before the damage is irreversible.
My girlfriend asked for that pose; she thought it would be funny, and I gave it a try. Seems I'm cut for it

Thanks everyone for the appreciation.
I'll look for some action shots but I'll have to ask some friends for the photos as I don't have too many. This event was thought moslty for celebrating, eating and drinking and not so much for offroading as it was new years eve.

Ahh beautiful winter/cold Europe. I grew up in a country not far from there and the only thing I miss is the cold winters and the snow!
