Hi, was wondering if anyone could tell me if these would be suitable for my patrol ute ? i have no flares on my ute what so ever, would these stick out past the panels ?

Have a look at Cuppa's Build thread mate, he has the same Ute and added Flares to the front so he could swap from Split rims to new ones. Looks a treat.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever. WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.
16x8 +10 offset is stock on my GU ute with flares, the "wide wheel pack"
The rim now is 16x8 -13 offset and fit nice with flares, if the rim you buy is outside the body a rubber strip flare kit will fix that, and wont get belted off in the bush either.
0 offset will be fine with a flare I'm guessing. The tyres can rub on the rear chassis rails on the utes when flexing the suspension, the reason I went for the wider offset. http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/h...lresize8-1.jpg

ok those flares actually look pretty sweet, and they go on and fit eel with just the standard front bumper rather than the one for wide wheel setup ?? i realise these prob all seem like stupid questions but I'm new to the world of patrols, previously owned a pajero but shhhhhh
