No Power to Ignition
Good Afternoon Fellow Patrol Owners. Washed the beast yesterday and also washed under the bonnet. Left the truck to dry for a couple of hours but when I went to turn it over all it made was a ticking noise. I had to get the truck out of the driveway so I gave her a rolling start and drove her in to the garage. I tried to restart but had the same clicking noise and no start. This morning when I tried to start her this morning I got one tick then everything went dead. I removed and replaced a few fuses and the power came back, but as soon as I tried to start again everything went dead. Seems to me that there is a short somewhere. Did not use a pressure sprayer. Battery is fully charged and the terminals are clean. Any Ideas???

Might be dirty battery terminals , remove and give them a clean with scotch bright scourer.
Sounds like your not getting 12v to the starter

Have already cleaned the terminals. I know that I am getting power to the starter motor. When I try turn the motor over, everything goes dead. Not even power to the ignition?

Put a multi across the battery and try starting, dothe volts drop to )?v = faulty battery
Try a jumper lead between the negative terminal and the engine block - try starting - if the truck starts = ground issue
