Rear Barn Door
G'day All,
A couple of years ago I fitted an extension bracket to the rear barn door. The issue that I have now is when the door is open, any slight breeze/wind or even if the car is at a slight right angle, the door bloody swings closed all the time. Has anyone out there got a fix or know of a solution? The hinges don't have bolts just pins so I can't tighten anything up. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Cheers Woody

Put a small gas strut on it
Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward.
Whoever cannot take care of themselves without that law is both.
For a wounded man shall say to his assailant,
'If I live, I will kill you. If I die, You are forgiven.'
Such is the rule of honour.

Yeah as TPC said you can use my fix or as Macca said put a gas strut on it, all depends on how much work you want to do, The rubbers in the assembly just get shagged after alot of use so this will tighten them back up, I did mine in may and it is still nice and tight, eventually it will wear out again and then I can either tighten it back up or put some new rubber in there.
Cheers,
Eric.
