OME castor kit yes/no ??
Hi all, GU8 is going in next week to get the OME suspension kit installed. I'm opting for the 2cm lift. The sales guy at ARB reckons that there is no need for the castor kit for a 2cm lift. I am quite happy with the guys at ARB here in the Alice so far so I am tending to go with what he reckons. I just thought that I would run it past the people out here in the un-biased Nissan world for some opinions.....
Cheers all.

I assume you means 2 inch lift (5cm) and caster correction will not be required. You will be happy with the upgrade

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Depends on the Car, I put 2'' OME lift in my Patrol and it put castor out by nearly 3.5 Deg. I would try it with out them first. If it feels good, then dont worry about them. But if feels light in the steering and wants to wander on the highway, then get them done.
Cheers

From what I understand, with a 2" lift you are close to the castor limit, therefore, castor correction is advised but may not be necessary.

I had ARB install the OME 2" lift in my 03 GU Patrol. The guys here in Hobart said that it did not require the castor kit and I have had no issues with it at all.
