what size rims 17" or smaller

I have a 2011 GU with 17" rims ( alloy ) , Its time to get new rubber and it looks like I can get rims and tyres ( 15" or 16" ) for the same $ as a set of 17" tyres so the question is what am I better of doing what would be the cheepest way out ?

Not sure they would fit to be honest IMO I thought they used 17" rims to clear the bigger brakes

    Allan,

17inch tyres are more expensive, but if you keep them and keep buying them, the price will go down for the rest of us....

On a side note 35 are far less obvious on 17 " rims than 15-16" IMO as there is less rubber looks can be deceiving lol

I suggest going 16" they'll fit and majority of tires come in a 16 and some tires don't come in a 17"

Hey mate I have 2012 I sold my alloy rims and tyres with bit over 15000km on em for $1750 and bought 6x MT ATZ 4 ribs 265/75 on 16x8 dynamic steel rims. Ended up costing me an extra $950 on top of money from old ones and should be cheaper to replace em in the future.
