Thermostat stuffed??????????

My ig girl doesnt seem to want to get past about quater on the tem p gauge--does this sound like the thermostat is stuck open???

Same happened with mine a while back , temp didn't seem to rise and fall like it does with a working thermostat, my thermostat was stuck open ..........

My GQ never gets above a quarter only when the AC is on and then it sit at about a third.
check water temp with a thermometer in case the gauge is faulty

what should temp be??--it was fine this morn,but stuck on 1/4 tonight--it usually sits just under half..

Mine usually sits between around 1/4, when i push it hard or when it gets hotit gets to between 1/2 & 3/4, thermostat opens then slowly drops down tto just under half..... but i alwaysback off and let cool down a bit more. I need to fit a proper temp gauge really instead of relying on the crappy standard on.

Mine is a petrol though boagie, so not sure on the differences there
